Quixtar, Inc. Announces Promotions

[Quixtar News: Dec. 17, 2002] Quixtar Inc., a member of the Alticor group of companies, has promoted Beth Dornan to Director of Communications, Robin Luymes to Manager of Public Relations, and Todd Krause to Manager of Business Relations.

As Director of Communications, Dornan oversees Quixtar's print and electronic Communications, plus Quixtar Brand Management, Relationship Management, Public Relations, and Employee Communications functions.

With Alticor companies since 1989, Dornan previously managed Quixtar's Public Relations team. She earned her bachelor's degree in journalism from Indiana University and Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). She is a member of PRSA and the International Association of Business Communications.

As Manager of Public Relations, Luymes leads media relations, product publicity, employee communications, and business brand messaging for Quixtar. Luymes earned a bachelor's degree in English from Calvin College, an associate's degree in journalism from Loyalist College in Belleville, Ont., Canada, and Accreditation in Public Relations from the PRSA. Luymes is President-Elect for the West Michigan chapter of the PRSA.

As Manager of Business Relations, Krause oversees a sales team supporting Quixtar-powered Independent Business Owners (IBOs) across the U.S. and Canada, helping to ensure alignment of corporate and IBO efforts to achieve sales goals. Krause earned his bachelor's degree in business and psychology from Calvin College.
